MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER INTERN
June 2021 - September 2021
Interned designing water mitigation parts for dynamic and static figures under the supervision of amazing industry professionals and peers. I also had a blast machining and assembling a mock up puppet that would be used to display functionality of the puppet design. Along with learning mechanical design, additional skills from disciplines such as animation, assembly, and fabrication are learned to help understand the collaborative efforts taken to create outstanding puppets and animatronics. DEA&I
COMMITTEE MEMBER
April 2021 - Current
A current member of TEA's Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion Committee. With a passion for storytelling and creating worlds for all people to experience, the most important factor is where those stories come from. I truly believe that everyone has a story to share and no matter what part of the world one may come from, these stories are relatable.

SHPE JR. PEN PAL
May 2021 - Current
Having a wonderful time making new friends at Sally Ride Elementary in Orlando, FL! I am paired with a fifth grade student each semester. For Fall '21 I was paired with a student who dreamed of being an astronaut and shared her love for all things space! We were able to talk about family and friends, and was able to provide advice on how best to see stars, such as going to Dark Sky parks and observatories! This semester my pal loves Legos and building things! Being there and inspiring youth to keep their inquisitive spirits mean so much to me, and I can only hope to inspire many more students along my own journey.
